8th     - Choir Festival at Chelmsford Cathedral. 2pm rehearsal & 5pm service

16th     -9.45am      Service of dedication for the new Church extension with the Bishop of Chelmsford

                             (Usual 9.00am practice) The Bishop and other special guests will be present, with LYNX and the                                       adult choir. At Stephen's request we will be singing 'Christ be our light' by Bernadette Farrell.

17th   -6.45pm        Practice

24th   -6.45pm       Practice

DECEMBER 2008

7th      -9.45am        Family Service for 'Advent', led by Rosemary Elden (Usual 9.00am practice)

8th     -6.45pm        Practice

15th    -6.45pm        Practice

22nd / 23rd                At some point SLCJ will be carol-singing at Hill House and the Haven Project as usual.

24th   -3.00pm Christmas Eve Crib Service. Warm up at 2.15pm.

JANUARY 2009

4th       -3.30pm 'Christingle' Service: It is likely that SLCJ and 7th Heaven will be involved in leading this service
